You may have seen that this week we are supporting Baby Loss Awareness Week (BLAW) and in turn, Jon and Helen, who lost their daughter Lilly on 13th August.

On Saturday we will be raising funds for both Tommy’s and Ickle Pickles Childrens charity. Tommy’s is the UK’s largest charity which funds research into the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth. They also offer support and advice to bereaved families. Ickle Pickles specialise in purchasing equipment for Neonatal Intensive Care Units across the UK and on Saturday, we are specifically raising funds for a baby vein finder for QE hospital Woolwich.

The NICU at QE was instrumental in providing Lilly the very best of care during her short life.

This is a cause that we know will resonate with many of our members and it would be great if the Sidcup family (as it always does) can raise as much money as possible for such a worthy cause.
