Thank You & Hello
Sidcup RFC bids a fond farewell to our groundsman, Sam Ranson, as he embarks on a new role at Eltham College. Over the past few years, Sam has been the cornerstone of our club, dedicating his time and expertise to ensuring our grounds were in impeccable condition. His hard work and commitment have not only provided us with a pristine playing surface but have also significantly contributed to the overall success and spirit of Sidcup RFC.

We are incredibly grateful for all he has done and wish him the very best in his new role. When asked what he would miss most about the club Sam said “John the bar’s warm and friendly smile in the mornings"

We would also like to thank John Ranson (Sam’s dad) who is also stepping down

As we say goodbye to Sam, we are equally excited to welcome our new groundsman, Jay Berkhauer. Jay comes to us with a wealth of experience having been the head groundsman at Dartford football for a number of years. When asked what he was looking forward to most Jay said “I can’t wait to get my hands on a Sidcup Gold Kapow T-shirt”. Lucky for Jay (and the rest of you) they are now on special in the club shop!!

To Sam, thank you for your years of hard work, dedication, and the positive impact you've had on our club and to Jay, welcome to the Sidcup sports club family!
